Assessment solutions

Evaluate before… measure after

Based on the concept that performance cannot take place without a means to measure it, EML has developed a range of methods and tools for concretely evaluating the effects, impacts and results produced by its competencies development programme.

EML INSIGHT UPSTREAM

Because there can be no performance, desire to learn or commitment to change without an initial close understanding of an individual’s background – his or her challenges and objectives, and ability to respond – EML formed a strategic alliance with the Canadian firm Dolmen (see opposite) to design and develop a range of proprietary assessment tools.

EML Insight Solutions, powered by EML/Dolmen was built on a repository of original skills, including 47 knowledge areas and 235 behavioural indicators.
The current range includes the following principal solutions:

  • A full range of Tests: 360° evaluation, a Biodata questionnaire, personality tests, situational judgment tests, measurement of innate, acquired and potential skills.
  • Evaluations: Entrepreneurs for the world, centred on specific measures such as entrepreneurial ability and innovation potential.
  • The Method Learning Style Assessment, allowing the identification of the most appropriate learning arrangements for each individual and his or her company.

EML OUTSIGHT DOWNSTREAM

No competencies development programme can truly succeed without reliable assessment tools, allowing alignment of its consistency with its original objectives and the participant’s point of departure, and capable of calculating the return on investment.
In order to develop just such a toolkit to closely measure outcomes following implementation of a programme, EML entered into a strategic alliance with Mbee.M (see opposite), a Swiss domain expert.

EML Outsight tools and materials are available on the Web, and are very flexible and easy to use.
To provide a truly tailored evaluation system, the tools can be configured with a choice of various criteria including corporate goals, personal pathway for competencies development, access to new responsibilities, ensured acquisition of highly specialised skills, the ability to put new skills and new expertise
into practice and the direct and operational contribution to specific exercises or ongoing projects.

EML VALUE WORKSHOPS : EML S’ENGAGE SUR UN CONTRAT DE PERFORMANCE

Value Workshops are an excellent example of the programmes of accompaniment that can be put in place by EML to create a permanent and direct link between the programmes implemented, the participant’s project and the added value for his or her company.

Based on specific performance criteria, defined together at the outset and then evaluated throughout the programme in three-party workshops including EML, the individual and company, this programme allows validation of :

  • The actual appropriation of the contents.
  • The alignment of changes the participant saw with his or her professional and personal background.
  • Consistency between the results of the training and the objectives to which EML committed.
