To increase the performance of business leaders and managers worldwide with innovative and efficient solutions for competencies development.
OUR GUIDING IDEAS
To meet the new requirements of companies, EML has made competencies development a means to more directly affect performance. EML has created new solutions that work very powerfully and profoundly on three levels: Efficiency, Innovation and Human Experience.
Efficiency
The success of the programme starts with a strong “relationship” with a business: a good prior understanding of its strategic context, through the creation of a shared language, and its close association with the finalisation and final evaluation of the programme.
To maintain a constant and consistent link from upstream to downstream, EML has developed a proprietary six-step method, EML PROCESS. This process relies on a very specific methodology: SCAN/PIVOT/ACT.
Lastly, in order to achieve the greatest benefit from the development programmes implemented, EML is clearly committed to providing tools to evaluate all of the key stages: EML INSIGHT/EML OUTSIGHT. Through measurable and objective criteria, it thus becomes possible to verify that the transfer of covered skills and expertise is taking place or has already been made.
Innovation
Through its LAB, EML proposes methods, tools and original educational games to multiply the effectiveness of learning styles, and goes even further in performance.
Through innovation, EML also seeks to develop a new self-knowledge, by cultivating the skills necessary for today’s leaders and managers:
• Openness, curiosity, the ability to question and challenge to empower evolution and change.
• Creativity, in order to identify new pathways and to follow them.
• Initiative, to be able to venture as far as possible in one’s area of autonomy.
• Social commitment and responsibility, to be attentive to everyone working in the company, and to better protect the environment.
Human Experience
In EML’s view, the process of competencies development is largely an individual matter.
The performance objectives cited by a company increasingly involve expertise that goes far beyond the trainers. They should be capable of prior evaluation, the transfer of knowledge, plus follow-up support during implementation and post-programme monitoring of outcomes and effects.
This requirement prompted EML to provide multiple-skill EML TEAMs. In addition, the proposed environment has been designed to allow participants to experience “a slice of life”: different, challenging and encouraging the appropriation of knowledge and the motivation to apply it. It’s the EML EXPERIENCE.
We believe it is time for Executive Education to make room for Executive Development.
